Artist's Statement:
Textiles, glass and photography are equal parts science, mystery and magic. My work seeks to explore the boundaries between art and craft through these processes; requesting viewers connect to unknown entities and offer themselves with intimacy and empathy to the distilled common experience of humanity. This work is from the ongoing series loosely bound together as Orphans & Foundlings. As the name suggests, these pieces are assemblages created using photographs.
