In-Person and Online
Talks & Demonstrations Proposal

The Kings County Fiber Festival is a venue for education and provides an opportunity for NON-VENDORS to discuss an area of interest related to Fiber Arts, providing demonstrations as applicable. Please keep in mind that presentations should be informative and educational, not focused on a specific product or service.

We may not be able to accommodate all proposals. If your proposal is selected, we will be in touch by email regarding details.

Proposals are due September 15

There are several opportunities to be featured:

Online

There is an annual talk and demonstrations posted regularly on the KCFF You Tube channel and social media. The format can be tutorial, presentation or interview and selected proposals should run 15 - 30 minutes in length.

  • Annual Artist Talks (Video format)

  • Technique or Process Demonstration (Video format)

In-person

We welcome scheduled presentations or demonstrations during the Festival. There will be space set up at the Old Stone House and we encourage your participation, as the public enjoy these opportunities to learn.

Selected proposals will be listed in the Festival’s schedule online and social media accounts. Speaker blocks include 20 minutes for demo + 10 minutes for Q&A.

  • Speaker Presentations (in-person format)

  • Demonstrations (in-person format)

We welcome diversity of topics and techniques related to Fiber Arts. If interested we encourage you to submit a proposal!
