Lili Loops
I am the founder, Lisa Chernyak. I “officially” started Lili Loops in 2019. It is a NYC based, woman-owned small business. My color-ways are inspired by my Husband's Vinyl record collection. He was a DJ "back in the day" and the inspiration comes from the unique artwork in each of the albums.
I taught myself to knit and crochet after my two sons were diagnosed with autism/ADHD. I began to spend a lot of time waiting in the car while they were at their therapy sessions. I always had specific colors in mind but could never find a yarn in the bright, dynamic colors I was looking for. Which ultimately led me to dying my own.
My love for color sparked while I was a student at the New York School of Interior Design, and my interest in developing a bounty of color combinations has continued to blossom since.
