Stone Cellar Dye Works is the dream child of Eve and Tori, two best friends who never got the hang of doing things alone. Since age 5, they’ve been constant collaborators and mischief makers — and interested in yarn for almost that long. In March 2025, after a decade spent working together in professional regional theatre, they decided to take the yarn business full-time. Stone Cellar, named for their studio’s origins in the quirky basement of Tori’s 1800s stone farmhouse, primarily produces small batch, hand-dyed yarn, and hand-made accessories for your wardrobe and home; but as a new venture, is in a state of constant evolution and experimentation.
Pulling from their backgrounds in theatre, photography, writing, and textiles, a deep love of storytelling comes through in their bold, thematic yarn collections and imaginative displays.
